Our Story

We were founded over 20 years ago with the goal of building a consulting firm where the senior experts were the people actually doing the work for our local government clients – and not just showing up for the first and last meetings on a project.

Since then, we’ve grown exponentially and have worked with hundreds of clients across the country and beyond, maintaining our focus exclusively on local and state government. In 2018, we created a Canadian subsidiary, MCG Consulting Solutions, to better serve the Canadian market.

We are passionate about our work, and we think it shows in the detail of our analysis and our commitment to our clients. Our teams are a blend of career public sector leaders and experienced analysts – matching expertise with industry-leading analytical capabilities.
